How many Assistant vacancies will be there in 2017?

As far as vacancies are concerned, 2012 is the Golden year, when RBI announces exact 1000 Assistants vacancies for its offices located in India. and after that these vacancies getting deceased and usefully in the range of 500-550.

It was only in 2016, that vacancies reached the 600 marks, to be exact 610. Actually, vacancies are advertised, based on the Staff requirement of RBI Offices, located in Country.

Who can apply for Assistant Jobs in RBI?

If there is anything, that has not changed in RBI is over the Last few years, is the Eligibility Criteria. Yes, we have the same Eligibility criteria in 2017, as we have some 5 years ago. To be short and precise, here is the Eligibility criteria for Assistants Exam in RBI

1) Nationality: You should be an Indian Citizen to apply for Jobs in RBI.

2) Age Limit Applicant must have attained the age of 18 years and the upper age should not exceed 28 years. The Cut off Date for Determining the Age Limit is Date of announcement of RBI Notification.

3) Educational Qualifications: Applicant should be a Graduate with minimum 50% marks in the Bachelors Degree. Along with this, the applicant should be Computer literate having knowledge of Word processing on Computers.

Scheme and Syllabus of RBI Assistant Exam 2017

Exam Pattern and Scheme of RBI Assistant Exam has changed over the years. Previous, RBI Assistant selection process comprises of Objective Type test of 200 Marks and Interview. But now the Latest RBI Exam Pattern is Changed and there are 3 Stages of Exam Viz Prelims, Mains, and thereafter Interview

1) Prelims Exam: All those candidates, who apply for RBI Assistant Recruitment have to appear in the Prelims Exam, of 100 Marks having Duration of 1 Hour

2) Mains Exam: Qualified candidates in the Prelims Exams will be called for Main Exam, that comprises of 5 Subjects having overall weighage of 200 marks and composite time of 2 Hours

Note: Both the Prelims and Mains Exams will be held through the online mode only.

3) Interview:  Successful candidates in the Main Stage, will be called for the Interview., which comprises of 23 Marks.

Final Merit: The Final Merit for selection of Assistant in RBI, comprises of Marks obtained in the Mains Exam and Interview taken together.

How to Apply ?

RBI Only accepts online applications for the recruitment of Assistants. RBI Registration Links are open for minimum of 20 Days. But it is always suggested that you should apply during the starting Dates and not wait for the Last dates to avoid any issues

Online Applications: Online Application is the only valid method to apply for Assistant Jobs in RBI. The Central Bank had do away the process of accepting the Paper application forms. Registration for RBI Assistant Exam is managed by IBPS and before you proceed to apply online for RBI Exam, you should have your Scanned copies of Photo and Signature

Application fees: The cost of RBI Online Application form is Rs 450/ which is to be paid through online mode only by Net Banking, Credit / Debit Cards only. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/EXS will have to pay only Rs 50 (Intimation charges)
