 Who can apply for SSC CGL 2018 Exam?


Applicant willing to apply for SSC CGL Recruitment 2018 Exam, must have to full fill these Eligibility conditions

1) Applicant should be a resident of India

2) Age Limit: Applicant should have completed 18 years of age and maximum age should not exceed 27 years ( For Some posts) and 30 years (For various other posts).

Selection Process and Scheme of CGL Exam


 Selection process for SSC CGL 2018, comprises of  Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 Stages

 1) Tier-1 Exam: All those candidates who apply for CGL Exam, will have to appear in the Tier-1 Exam, which comprises of 100 Objective Type Questions carrying 200 marks. Duration of Tier-1 Exam is 1 hour

2) Tier-2 Exam: Those who qualify the SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam, they will be shortlisted for the Tier-1 stage, which again comprises of Objective Type Questions.

3) Tier-3: Amongst those, who qualify the Tier-1 and Tier-2 Exam, and ranked higher in the Merit List, will be called for the Tier-3 Stage, that consists of Descriptive Paper of 100 marks having Duration of 1 hour

SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam 2018: Complete Details

Just like CGL is for Graduates, CHSL is for Intermediates (12th Pass) candidates.

Tentative Schedule of SSC CHSL 2018 Exams, will be known only after the release of SSC Calendar 2018. However, going by the Schedule of last few years, it is expected that CHSL will be held by the end of 2018 due to the pendency of CHSL 2017 Exam.

Who can apply for SSC CHSL 2018 Exam?


Applicants willing to apply for SSC CHSL 2018 Exam, must full fill the below-mentioned eligibility conditions.

1) Nationality: Applicant should be an Indian National.

2) Age Limit: Applicant must have attained the age of 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 27 years. However, there is relaxation in age limit as per the Rules specified by Government of India.

3) Educational Qualifications Applicant should have passed the 10+2 (12th Class) from any recognized Board Or University in India. There is no percentage criteria as such specified in the 12th Class.


Selection Process: The Selection process for SSC CHSL Recruitment comprises of 2 Stages viz Tier-1 and Tier-2

1) Tier-1: All those applicants who apply for SSC CHSL 2018 Exam, will have to appear in the Tier-1 stage, that comprise of the Computer-Based Objective test having 100 Questions(200 Marks). Duration of Tier-1 Exam is 75 minutes.

2) Tier-2: Those who Qualify the Tier-1 Stage, will have to appear in the Tier-2 stage, that comprises of Descriptive Paper of 1 Hour. Applicants will have the option to write the Descriptive Paper either in Hindi Or English.

Applicants should note that Part of Paper in Hindi and Part of Paper in English, may lead to cancellation of Paper.

Applicants willing to apply for SSC CHSL 2018 Exam, will have to wait till the Notification for SSC CHSL Exam is announced officially. Once the Notification, gets announced, you can start submitting the application form.

Online Application: Applicants can submit the application form through online mode only. SSC has discontinued accepting the Paper Application forms for CHSL Exam and the Online mode is the only valid mode to apply for SSC CHSL Exam 2018.

Application Fees: SSC charges only Rs 100 as application fees for CHSL Exam. Moreover, Women Candidates and those belonging to Reserved categories, like SC/ST and Physically challenged candidates for them, there is Zero application fees.

2) Age-Limit: Applicant should be in the Age bracket of 18 to 25 years ( As on closing Date of Online Application)

3) Educational Qualification: Minimum qualification to apply for SSC MTS Exam is Matric only. Candidates who are yet to appear in the 10th Class Exam, but they obtain the Documentary Evidence of having passed the 10th Class before the Closing Date can also apply.



Selection Process for SSC MTS 2018 Exam

The Selection process for the recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) by SSC, comprises of  an Objective Paper (Paper-1) and Descriptive Paper (Paper-2)

Paper-1: All those candidates who apply for SSC MTS Exam, will have to appear in the Paper 1 comprising of 150 Questions carrying 200 Marks. Total Duration of Exam is 2 Hours.
